Review of my new Bose Quite Comfort 15 Headphones - Super Smooth Base and Crystal Clear Clarity : Soul Sound Satisfaction
Does Bose gives the ultimate sound experience ? Find out below.
Finally, I'm happy to announce i have this sense called "Soul Sound Satisfaction". I finally found the premium sound which is Super smooth in Base, and Crystal clear in Clarity. The smooth base was the experience perhaps my soul always was in search of, and that's one of the reasons why i kept changing(hunting) headphones. Even my $150 Bose In-Ear phones did not stop me from, buying and trying these Noise Cancellation Quite Comfort 15 headphones.
I have being using them for 2 weeks on Rahman to Linkin Park and have been amazed by the quality of sounds it emits. Using then feels like having home food after prolonged eating out or any other better desperation exemplifying cliche. Watching movies with them is one relishing experience; and it brings about the real theater quality to your personal space like home, or commute.
In contrast to the Soul satisfaction sound performance these headphones comes with quite a lot of surprises. The biggest being it runs only on Batteries. What the heck ? Yes it is. I have confirmed with Bose, and these headphones have Noise cancellation technology which feeds (drain) on AAA batteries, and each lasts no more than a week with a 2-3 hours of play per day. Changing battery is like changing shitty smelly diapers for kids. I'm sorry Bose for being so harsh in my comments on battery requirement, but i wonder they could have substituted the power from music source.
Also, though they are promised to be "Comfortable" even for long usage; but i wonder what the exact time period did they mean. I have been wearing them hours 6-7 hours day but ever 1 hour i have to take a break; and i mean i have to take them off for quite a while. I wish they could cut the comfort from their marketing as it sort of create a Hype, and the product doesn't meet the expectation from a premium brand Bose. But if you compare them with other brands, they do stand out in Comfort and perhaps the Bose was correct in its comparison. Well, who doesn't do comparison.
I extensively use my headphones for talking over phone and off-late my calls are Pre and Post appended with comments on Low volume voice. My mom specially says she has hard time hearing my low volume voice over phone since i have started using Bose headphones with Noise Cancellation. I thought the Noise cancellation was supposed to work outwards to cut external sounds (which it does quite better); but seems to working hard(over) other way as well. Probably its a Bug (hardware or software) or perhaps just needs a tweaking. Whatever be the reason, its been a quite an inconvenience for voice calls over phone.
Outdoor use i thought was equally cool, and easy; but it isn't. I used it in Malls and was quite surprised by peoples watching/rolling eye balls. So i have decided to used them at home only, and save my soul from piercing eyes.
